Apostatic Caldera

The Apostatic Caldari is a colossal depression in the earth created during The Lashing centered around the one time capital of the Pardic Empire, Al'Moraah. It is currently an uninhabited wilderness surrounded by a demilitarized zone administered by the Central Neutral Territories(CNT) .

he area is full of animal and plant life that have been modified into strange new hybridized species by the many large, semi-stable deposits of Ether left in the area. These are known as Aberrants. Possession of Aberrants is at best in a legal gray area depending on the country. Some academic institutions are granted special dispensation for the purposes of research.
This has not prevented a moderately sized poaching economy existing around the caldera's inner rim; harvesting and selling unique timbers, animal hides, and even recovered (now non-functional) Nostratic relics from the Pardic Empire.
