Suda

The average Suda is dark skinned, with either curly or straight black hair

History

The Suda have been split into four major kingdoms for several hundred years; Suusanna, Daguetera, Akoda and Idjipa. Idjipa held the lands south of Suusanna and were most affected by the fallout of The Lashing, ultimately being conquered by Suusanna not long after.

Akoda has always been somewhat insulated from the politics of the rest of the Suda by virtue of simply being seperated by great distances of plains to the major population centers of Suusanna and Daguetera.

Culture

Familial duty and obligation are a huge part of Suda culture. Marriages especially end up usually being messy affairs, with a delicate juggling of each side's family's expectations.
The Suda retain a plurality of animistic beliefs despite the spread of the Nabalic Faith among them. Some beliefs have merged, forming the youngest sect: Urtu Lunasticism. It is not uncommon, even in cities, to find shrines made to appease plant or animal spirits.
