Tysyazar
History
The Tysyazar have lived in the Archipelago that shares their namesake for upwards of 1600 years. The islands themselves are poor in any resources that would bring wealth through trade (excepting a few islands with minor gemstone deposits). Instead the Tysyazar have resorted to raiding the merchant vessels of the mainland navies. There has never been a united government of the hundreds of islands they inhabit, and the various clans war with each other almost constantly. Alliances shift, ownership of islands trade, but in the long term, the islands are politically gridlocked.
Culture
The Tysyazar worship Algavitec whom is seen as a hands off guiding figure. According to myth Algavitec lead the first Tysyazar through an apocalyptic tempest to
Tengebokotverstiye - the first island. This island is a holy place, and is administered wholly by priests. Clan conflicts are forbidden there and all are welcome to visit or seek
asylum there.
Most Tysyazar acknowledge Kism and the sovereign's those of the Nabalic faith worship as gods, but "Not their god"
There is a deep superstition around the Krasynz, it is often said that their red hair is a sign that the membrane between their brain and Algavitec is thin. They are never look upon hostily, but more with hesitation or perhaps some fear. Some may ask them to bless their journey or ask for omens on what is to come.
Clan identity is huge, and the grudges between clans run deep. Moving from one clan to another is rarely a voluntary process, more likely it is that one weas captured and can likely expect to live out their time as some form of servant or slave, unless they are reccaptured.
Many ships have a piece of what is considered to be the original 'Wayfinder Rhizome' that brought Tysyazar to the world on the bow that serves as both a shrine and good luck charm. More than one Nabalic missionary has learned that disrespecting or desecrating it is a quick way to be thrown overboard.
There is a large disapora of Tysyazar in the RoF. Clan identity still holds a great deal of sway amongst first generation Tysyazar, but those barriers have largely disappeared
in the second and third generation. They are the other in the RoF, no one cares what clan they are, just that they are Tysyazar.
Docks in Rabat are largely staffed by Tysyazar immigrants.
