Galoseans
History
The Galoseans are native to the cliff-coasted peninsula of the west of the continent, and were the last major group conquered by the Pardic Empire before their crusade's halt by the Suda. Post Lashing Galosean kingdom's tended to be much smaller, as a large portion of the peninsula had been seperated into dozens of smaller islands.
Culture
Galosean culture heavily emphasizes physicality as a reflection of the internal self. Physical sports, namely wrestling, cliff diving and rugby1 are huge in Galosean communities. Tournaments spanning multiple nations happen almost year round. Coastal fishing and sailing are also big Galosean pastimes. Any sporting event is going to have a big seafood cookout to go with it. While navally inclined, their traditions rarely take them far from shore. At least not compared to the Tysyazar or Krasynz. Although the people have been made more seperate by the Lashing, the cultural links between them have stayed relatively strong. The main local variations tend to be specializations in different sports between regions.
