Krasynz

The average Krasynz is pale and frekled, almond eyes, a slightly wiry build and either dark or red hair. They are a small ethnic group in the Tysyazar Archipelago that are the result of a genetic bottleneck via emigration.

History

Exact records are scan but it is believed the Krasynz were once Skoggan natives of the main continent, and for some unknwon reason, perhaps fleeing an environmental catastrophy or warring neighboring tribes, went to sea to find a new homeland and ended up settling on an island withing the archipelago. Over time they mixed with the local Tysyazar both genetically and culturally, and formed the modern Krasynz ethnic group.

Culture

Krasynz culture will for the most part be identical to the greater Tysyazar culture that they are a part of. Tysyazar culture regards them with a bit of superstition, that they are in some way a conduit for divine or outside forces, and will sometimes be treated with nervous deference, awe, or avoidance.
Many Krasynz embrace this and join the priesthood of Algavitec, or serve as a ship's chaplain. Others are put off of the whole thing, and are just kind of annoyed.
